Honor is all set to release its newest telephone — Honor V20 at a launch event in China on 26th December. Ahead of the phone’s formal release, the company has started taking pre-orders for the phone starting Presently.
The company is taking pre-orders for the Honor V20 through online retailer Tmall, charging users 100 Yuan, what is approximately $14, even though the formal pricing is not yet unveiled. But, the pricing information has been flowed out online.
The Honor V20 will be in the world in two versions — one with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal memory and another with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal memory. Even though the 64GB storage model will be offered at 2,799 Yuan (~$405), the 128GB storage model will cost 3,299 Yuan (~477).
The leak doesn’t mention 8GB RAM variant of the phone, which the Honor V10 priced. However, we are expecting the Chinese company to release the 8GB RAM model of the Honor V20 alongside with the 6GB RAM model, valued around 3,599 Yuan, roughly $521.
The Honor V20 will come with a “Magic Eye Full Screen” tech, what attributes a 4.5mm hole in the panel for the front-facing sensor, what is touted as the industry’s smallest hole. The smartphone is gossiped to feature a 6.4-inch display with support for full HD+ resolution of 2310 x 1080 pixels.
For photography, the smartphone is coming to function a triple sensor option with 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 as its main camera. The manufacturer has already shared the formal camera samples of the V20 phone. The phone is In addition tipped to come equipped with a ToF (Time of Flight) 3D camera sensor for precise creation of 3D models of objects and people for AR.
On the front side, the smartphone might be featuring a 25-megapixel snapper for taking selfies and video calling. Under the hood, the product will be powered by the company’s own Kirin 980 octa-core chipset manufactured using 7nm process.
It will be equipped with Link Turbo function that offers enhanced and uninterrupted download speeds by combining LTE and Wi-Fi networks to work simultaneously. The phone is coming to be powered by a 4,000mAh battery with 22.5W fast charging support.
Together with the launch of Honor V20 in China on 26th December, the manufacturer will also launch the Honor YOYO Smart Speaker, which as the name suggests, will be powered by the company’s YOYO smart voice assistant. Honor has moreover scheduled a launch occasion on 22nd January to release the Honor Sight 20, the international model of the Honor V20.
