This year we have seen manufacturers who prefer in-house chipset for few of its telephones adopt that of competitors. The Honor 8X Max, for example, ships with a Snapdragon 636 or Snapdragon 660 cpu. Also, Samsung’s Galaxy S Light/Lite Luxury Edition and Galaxy A9 (2018) are both powered by the Sd 660. The trend will continue up coming year, at least for Samsung.
A tweet by Twitter user @MMDDJ_ has uncovered that the Korean giant will release a smartphone powered by a Sd 710 processor in January. This will deliver it Samsung’s high strong budget cameraphone and going, most expensive too. The rest of the specifications are yet unknown but count on it to have impressive cameras too.
This doesn’t come as a big surprise. Samsung is trying fresh strategies to get on its rivals in markets which includes India. Those rivals (OPPO, Xiaomi, and Vivo) already have phones powered by this chipset. If Samsung wants to get on them, it will have to adopt the exactly chipset because none of its budget Exynos processors are that powerful.
There are theories that the smartphone could launch as the Galaxy A10 what makes sense due to the fact the A-series are upper price range telephones. The smartphone will probably launch initially in India before making its way to other countries.
