I like 8-inch tablets. They are not too big or too heavy, and you could simply put it in a bag without adding a significant weight!

It’s ideal dimensions for a 16:10 format as nicely for reading a book or for watching a movie.

Teclast P80 Pro: Design and Appearance

Note that the ratio screen/tablet is only 71%, the tablet should stink be smaller! But the rounded edges and corners of the Teclast P80 Pro suggests a comfortable grip.

At the back, we discover in a pretty classic way, in the top left, the main sensor of 2 megapixels and just Here the LED flash.

On the instantly facet, there is a marked cache of the name of the brand concealing the tray for the micro-SD card.

The back of the tablet of Teclast P80 Pro i is made of aluminum alloy with a gentle finish that gives it a rather pleasant touch.
The material seems to be a little slippery, Therefore you could want to invest in a case to have a better grip and able to stall for viewing a video for example.

On the straight edge in portrait mode, we discover in top to backside, number and power/lock buttons.

On the left side, you will find the microSD card tray that will allow you to expand the memory memory up to 128 GB.

On the top edge, the headphone jack, the micro-port USB, and Micro HDMI.

On the front, we have a camera located at the top left of the tablet. Finally, the screen looks to have received with no Corning Gorilla Glass treatment.

The tablet display takes draws Really quickly – and this is a euphemism – the finger sports.

Of type IPS with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, the screen is certainly one of the strong points of this tablet.

The show of the Teclast P80 Pro in the test offers contrast and brightness to appreciate your video content with brilliant colors. The brightness of the screen is sufficient for outdoor use in a comfortable way.

Small flat nevertheless, it is good-looking to put the brightness of the tablet to a minimum, the display is too vibrant.

The change between the 100% and the 0% is frankly too low to make the use of the tablet delicate in the dark without having creating a source of light to live!
Teclast P80 Pro: Hardware and Performance

The Teclast P80 Pro in the review is a small 8-inch touchscreen tablet with 1920?1200 pixels resolution (WUXGA) that options a 1.3GHz MediaTek MT8163 SoC coupled with 2GB of RAM, and 32 GB of internal memory.

For test purposes, I submitted the Teclast P80 Pro to alternative benchmarks. For reports, I obtained a score of 45k for Antutu.

While seeing a video or playing for example – the Teclast P80 Pro is particularly enjoyable.

Loading an HD video file of just higher than 2 GB is with no problem and browsing the video does not cause any slowdown.

Enjoying 3D games is not likely good. However no problems with 2D video games at all.

I discovered a little heat but nothing hideous after half an hour on the games a bit greedy.

On the other hand, if I did not encounter any repercussions in the phases of games with the parameters not defect, if one pushes to the maximum the excellent of the graphics renderings, I was in a position to note few slowdowns but pretty frankly, nothing frightening so far.

In conclude, the Teclast P80 Pro can go with you without problem to read eBooks, listen to podcasts or watch movies without ever getting the impression to have a slow device!
Teclast P80 Pro: Software

The Teclast P80 Pro runs Android 7.0 variant “stock” (android “pure”), Teclast is content to add few home programs with ultimately fairly little bloatware that could be uninstalled anyway.

There are few interesting applications this kind of as a “Parental Control” with a “Kids Mode” mode with secure Website browsing and open restriction tools.

If they do not introduce a major interest for you, you can smoothly delete them.

Teclast P80 Pro: Connectivity

The Teclast P80 Pro supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n / ac Dual-Band 2.4GHz/5.0GHz, as well as Wi-Fi Direct and hotspot. I have not encountered any connection problem, the tablet behaves just which includes all my devices connected.

Teclast P80 Pro: Battery

The Teclast P80 Pro in our test marks a 5300 mAh battery and the 5V/2A charging system. It will get 2h25 for a full charge.

You can count on an autonomy of 6:30 in mixed use with a 40% display and active WiFi connection; or 7 hrs with brightness at 50% in video use (wifi off). For an hour of HD video via Youtube, losses are 11-12% of the charge.

Due to a nice cpu, an Android “stock” and a nice optimization of its architecture, the Teclast P80 Pro displays Quite great experience in autonomy.
Teclast P80 Pro: Conclusions and Reviews

Overall, the design of the Teclast P80 Pro in our review is satisfactory. The high-resolution present associated with a MediaTek MT8163 cpu provides experience for video playback and games pretty correct.

The Teclast P80 Pro is light enough to carry easily, and its hardware instead balanced makes it better than most inexpensive tablets – around $100.

To conclude, the Teclast P80 Pro will be enough to check his email, look video streaming, delight in the programs of the Enjoy Store and perform various games. In short, a good little tablet to get everywhere at a lovely reasonable value.
