Vivo V9, Vivo Y83 and Vivo X21 gets price tag cut in India ahead of Vivo V11 Pro launch

Vivo has today reported a price tag cut of up to Rs. 4,000 for 3 smartphones in India — Vivo V9, Vivo Y83, and Vivo X21. With the price cut, the Vivo V9 is presently available for Rs. 18,990 (approximately $271) although the Vivo Y83 presently costs Rs. 13,990 ($200). The Vivo X21 is now retailing in India for Rs. 31,990 what roughly converts to $457.

The Vivo V9 was introduced in India earlier this year for Rs. 22,990. However, it received a value cut in June, bringing down the phone’s value to Rs. 20,990. The phone is available in three color options — Champagne Gold, Pearl Black, and Sapphire Blue.

It boasts a 6.3-inch Full-HD+ IPS FullView Show with 19:9 display aspect ratio and a 90 percent screen-to-body ratio. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor and sports 4GB RAM, 64GB memory. It options a dual rear camera option with 16MP + 5MP sensors and a 24MP front-facing digital camera. Running on Android Orea, it is fuelled by a 3,260mAh battery.

The Vivo Y83 was introduced in India in June for a value of Rs. 14,990 and is available in Black and Gold colour features. It attributes a 6.22-inch HD+ notched display and is powered by MediaTek’s Helio P22 octa-core cpu with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. The cameraphone, which has a 13MP rear scanner and an 8MP front-facing camera, is powered by a 3,260mAh battery.

The Vivo X21, which attributes an under-display fingerprint camera sensor, arrived to the Indian market with a price tag of Rs. 35,990, is currently available for Rs. 31,990. The phone houses a 6.28-inch Super AMOLED FullView notched present. The Sd 660 octa-core cpu powers the Vivo X21 alongside with 6GB RAM and native storage of 128GB.

The phone has a 12-megapixel primary digital camera and a secondary sensor of 5-megapixel for depth sensing. On the front side, there’s a 12-megapixel snapper for selfies and video calling. Operating on Android Oreo out-of-the-box, the cameraphone is powered by a 3,200mAh battery.
